European Football Championships
The 2008 European Football Championship, UEFA EURO 2008™,
will be held jointly in Austria and Switzerland and will be
the largest sporting event ever held in those countries. The Finals
themselves will begin on 7 June 2008, but the road to Basle, where
the opening match will be played, is a long one and qualifying
matches will begin from Autumn 2006.
England take on Andorra, FYR Macedonia, Estonia, Israel, Russia
and Croatia. Wales will play San Marino, Cyprus, Slovakia, Germany,
Czech Republic and the Republic of Ireland. Whilst Scotland will
face the Faroe Islands, Georgia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Italy and
France in an equally tough group.

the 2008 European Football Championships.
Scotland Euro 2008 Qualifiers
This October Scotland have another chance to climb up the ranks
taking on France as they kick off their Euro 2008
qualifying campaign at Hampden Park.
Wales Euro 2008 Qualifiers
Wales have been drawn in Group D in the Euro 2008 qualifying
matches.
