This announcement fulfils the promise The Foo Fighters made to the Wembley crowd at Live Earth, when lead singer Dave Grohl declared he could play at Wembley all night but that he'd make do with 'a couple more songs'. After finishing their five track set, Grohl then shouted to the crowd: 'you know we'll come back and play here - eventually'.
